You may recognize Sham Ibrahim from his appearance on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules where he gifted stars Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd a gorgeous pop art portrait of themselves — but more recently he’s has his art in a gallery featuring the star of FUSE TV’s Queen of Bounce, Big Freedia.

The art show was filmed by World of Wonder and Ibrahim is hoping to make an appearance alongside Freedia on the show.

Ibrahim and his art have been a central part of Los Angeles Fashion Week, and he will be displaying canvases again at the Art Hearts Fashion Event at the Tagyln Cultural Complex March 9- 12.

On Feb. 27 Ibrahim was a featured guest on Dan McGrath‘s show on CBS radio’s 101.3FM in Palm Springs, Calif. and also in the studio that day were the surviving four members of the Jackson 5; Jermaine, Marlon, Tito and Jackie!

Ibrahim presented each of the iconic brothers with a 8″ x 10″ framed print of his portrait of their late brother Michael Jackson.

Ibrahim’s iconic portraits focus on the people and events that shape modern American pop culture. He started his career as an actor, playing bit parts such as a patient in the operating room on NBC’s top rated hit show E.R. in 2003 and modeling for Steven Meisel in Vogue in 2004.

He transitioned from actor to artist after immersing himself in Hollywood by befriending celebrities, photographing them, filming them and, of course, doing artwork of them.

In 2009, he made worldwide headlines for a controversial portrait he did of Rihanna‘s police photo, following her incident with Chris Brown.

In Sept. 2014, he headlined a successful solo show at the World of Wonder Storefront gallery where celebrities like Lisa Rinna, Perez Hilton, Janice Dickinson, Lita Ford, Courtney Stodden, Gretchen Rossi, and Slade Smiley were among the attendees who arrived at the private red carpet event.

Sham participated in a Side Dish Q&A with us, too. So check it out below!

Q – If you had an elephant, where would you hide it?
A - I had an elephant I wouldn’t hide it at all. I would dress up my elephant in plus size custom-made colorful and stylish outfits, throw glitter and a wig on him or her and ride my elephant around town! Elephants are not for hiding, they are for showing off!

Q – If you had one superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?
A –  The one superpower I would like to have is the ability to fly so I could avoid traffic and never pay expensive gas prices again!

Q – What’s the weirdest dream you’ve ever had?
A – The weirdest dream I ever had was one where I was a cross dressing clown that gave art to celebrities… That dream came true and I live this weirdness everyday!

Q – What’s your favorite lunch dish and which food do you not like and why?
A – My favorite lunch dish that I think everyone should try is my artwork. It’s entirely gluten free and although it does have artificial colors, it has no preservatives and is entirely fat and cholesterol free! My least favorite dish would be hateful commentators, which unfortunately the Internet serves up daily.

Q – How do you relax and how easy do you find it to let go?
A –  I relax with something called the Super Bowl. Once I light it and begin smoking it, it’s very easy to let it all go!

Q – If you could be anywhere and with anyone right now, where and who would it be at this very moment?
A –  If I could be anywhere with anyone I would be dancing in heaven at Studio 54 with all the most fabulous dead celebrities. I would be hanging out with Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe and Andy Warhol would be seated at a table across from me, seething with jealousy!
