SANDRA BULLOCK KEEPS IT REAL ABOUT PARENTING HER TWO ADOPTED BLACK CHILDREN
Wednesday, Dec 1, 2021

Sandra Bullock is pullin’ up to Red Table Talk to dish about raising her two adopted black children.

Sandra got candid with Willow Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Gammy aka Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and revealed she wishes she “matched” with her kids’ skin because it would be “easier” for people to approach them.

“To say that I wish our skins matched, sometimes I do. Because then it would be easier on how people approach us,” Bullock shared. “And I have the same feelings as a woman with brown skin being her babies or a white woman with white babies,” she continued.

In addition to her concerns with raising two black kids, Bullock—who’s mom to Louis, 11, and daughter Laila, 9—was also hopeful that one day people will be able to see her and her kids with “different eyes” in response to Willow saying a mother-child dynamic sees “no color,” People reports.

She also opened up to Today’s Hoda Kotb about her insecurities of being a white mom to two black kids. “That was on my mind when they were very, very, very young — is that, will they love me less because I don’t represent their culture?” she shared.

What do you think about Sandra sharing her experience with raising her two black children? Tune in to see what our Dish Nation hosts think about her ‘Red Table Talk’ parental revelations.
