“Their focus is on giving their girls a normal upbringing,” a source told People. “Ryan and Eva are incredibly private, but at home, they’re just like any normal family. They don’t like the L.A. lifestyle and love to get out of town where they have more freedom to be out and about without all the attention.”
The pair who met while filming A Place Beyond the Pines allegedly live nanny-free in a “modest two-bedroom L.A. house that was once Gosling’s bachelor pad.” LA LA Land, say what?
Ryan and Eva are extremely private with their relationship and are rarely seen with their daughters, Esmeralda Amada, 2, and Amada Lee, 9 months.
Back in 2015, Eva opened up about raising their first daughter with the help of family members.
“I don’t technically have a nanny, but I do have help. I like to clarify. I’m certainly not anti-nanny, you do what you need to do as a parent, but I’m so grateful that I have help with my family and [Ryan’s] family,” she said during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show.
And while Eva has remained out of the spotlight during Ryan’s award season publicity blitz, he made sure to thank her while accepting his Golden Globe last month.
“While I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer,” the LA LA Land star said. “Sweetheart, thank you.”
Here’s hoping Eva enlists the help of a sitter so she can accompany the Oscar nominee to the Academy Awards later this month.
