ROSIE O’DONNELL WANTS ELISABETH HASSELBECK BACK ON THE VIEW!

The ink was barely dry on Rosie O’Donnell’s contract to return to the “The View” when her former co-host and nemesis Elisabeth Hasselbeck called in to “Fox and Friends,” the conservative show she now co-hosts, to whine that news O’Donnell was heading back to “The View” “ruined” her vacation.
O’Donnell, who’s not as volatile as she was seven years ago when she and Hasselbeck first did battle, wants to put an end to the back-biting and nastiness by inviting Hasselbeck to sit on the couch with her at “The View.”
“Enough of this BS. I want Elisabeth TO sit down with me like an adult and say it to my face,” Rosie said, according to a friend. “What better place is there to do that than the place where it all began? ‘The View’ Couch!'”
The famous feud began in 2007, when O’Donnell and Hasselbeck fought bitterly on air about the Iraq war, an altercation that sent O’Donnell packing from “The View.”
Last week Hasselbeck let loose with insults aimed at O’Donnell when she phoned in to “Fox and Friends” saying O’Donnell, “spit in the face of the military” seven years ago, and suggesting that O’Donnell will fight with current host Whoopi Goldberg.
O’Donnell responded to Hasselbeck’s assertion that she and Goldberg would be at odds when a fan Tweeted that they’d make a “fabulous pair.” “Yep. We’re grown ass women,” O’Donnell Tweeted back.
“I used to really respect Elisabeth. Our kids played together, and it hurts me to the core that she continues to be so hateful. Let’s just get her on the show, hash it out like adults and quit playing games. Something tells me she doesn’t want another face off with me, but we’ll see.” Rosie said.
