Reese Witherspoon is spilling some Big Little Truths!
She is frustrated with the different experiences men and women have in Hollywood and explained this at Vanity Fair’s Founder Fair, which celebrates women entrepreneurs.
She explained how it took her so long to be taken seriously as a producer, and it took three successes to prove it — Gone Girl, Wild and Big Little Lies.
“I finally had my three hits. Finally, I feel like the story had changed. I am a producer.”
She also threw some subtle shade at Colin Trevorrow who directed indie hit Safety Not Guaranteed and then followed that with Jurassic World and Star Wars: Episode IX.
“A guy has one hit and they say he’s going to win an Oscar. A guy has one movie at Sundance and he gets Jurassic Park. A woman has a hit at Sundance, and she has to make six more movies.”
Sorry Colin, but girl has a point!
