It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making moves in more ways than one! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly submitted a trademark application for their brand Sussex Royal ahead of their departure from the Royal Family, CNN reports. The trademark, which was reportedly filed in June and published on UK’s Intellectual Property Office website in December, includes educational and charitable donations, clothing, stationary and photographs.
On Wednesday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed plans to take a “step back” as senior members of the Royal Family in efforts to become “financially independent.” Shortly after, Queen Elizabeth convened an “emergency meeting” “of all four royal households and ‘tasked’ them with coming up with a ‘workable’ future role for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex within ‘days not weeks,'” Marie Claire reports.
