UPDATES: POLICE CONFIRM FATALITIES AT ARIANA GRANDE CONCERT AFTER ‘EXPLOSION’

As of this morning, 22 people have been confirmed dead in a suicide attack. According to CNBC, the bomber died when he detonated an explosive near the venue at 10:33 local time. 59 people were severely injured and many others remain missing. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack.
UPDATE 8:30 PM ET:
Manchester Police now say at least 19 people are confirmed dead and 50 injured in what is being considered a “terrorist incident until police know otherwise” at Manchester Arena.
Panic ensued at Ariana Grande‘s concert in Manchester, UK on Monday night after concertgoers allegedly heard an explosion inside the arena. Police have since confirmed there have been fatalities.
“Emergency services are currently responding to reports of an explosion at Manchester Arena. There are a number of confirmed fatalities and others injured. Please avoid the area as first responders work tirelessly at the scene. Details of a casualty bureau will follow as soon as possible,” reported the Greater Manchester Police.
