It seems like Idris Elba is not here for nepotism in Hollywood!
During a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Beast actor Idris Elba revealed his 20-year-old daughter Isan auditioned for the role of one of his two daughters, but she wasn’t cast because “the chemistry wasn’t right for a film.” Ouch!
Although Idris said his daughter’s audition was great, actresses Iyana Halley and Leah Sava Jeffries were cast for the roles instead, and when Isan found out she was snubbed by her pops she was fuming mad—so much so that she gave Idris the silent treatment for 3 weeks! Luckily, Idris and Isan were finally able to work through their differences, and she even attended the Beast premiere alongside her dad.
