Per NBC News, Trump shared his excitement over the new gig in a press release.
“I love great fighters and great fights. I look forward to seeing both this Saturday night and sharing my thoughts ringside. You won’t want to miss this special event,” Trump shared.
This may come as surprise to some, but this isn’t Trump’s first experience with boxing matches as he used to host high-profile fights in Atlantic City back in the ’80s and ’90s—including 1988’s Mike Tyson vs Larry Holmes match and the 1991 “Battle of the Ages” between Holyfield and George Foreman.
Donald Trump Jr. will be joining his dad to give ringside commentary during the pay-per-view event that takes place at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.
