“She’s been doing online dating for a while but she hasn’t found anyone to settle down with,” an insider dished.
“Her friends introduced her to Hinge and now she can’t get enough of it.”
The app works a bit like Tinder — swipe right for Mr. Right — however, it only connects you with ‘friends of friends’ within your Facebook. The tagline on their website is: “Meet real people, through your real friends, in real life.”
“Miranda likes it because there will always be a common denominator. Whoever she gets matched with will have a friend on Facebook who she is buddies with too,” the insider added.
“This way she can vet them even easier. The trouble is of course that she keeps getting matched with friends of Orlando’s. That’s really awkward. It’s not as if she can ask him how he knows them or if they’re dating material.”
“If you are not sleeping with someone, then I think it’s OK to go on a date with this one and that one,” she said.
When asked if she was up for sex on the first date, she didn’t dismiss it but said, “My philosophy is that until you get to know them it’s better not to, because energetically as a woman you get attached. So you’re better of to go on a few dates and see if you want to get attached or not.”
