Mike Tyson holds no bars when it comes to his Hotboxin podcast, and rapper Boosie Badazz definitely felt the heat during his interview over the weekend. Things got a little uncomfortable when Tyson confronted Boosie about his comments over Dwyane Wade’s daughter Zaya Wade, who publicly identifies as female but was born male.
“Why do you say things about people who might be homosexual? Why did you say that about them? Do you feel there’s a possibility that you’re a homosexual and by disrespecting them, it furthers yourself from being a homosexual? I’m thinking you may like homosexuals,” Mike said.
Boosie clarified that he’s “as straight as an arrow,” and the reason why he urged Dwyane to not let Zaya “cut his d*** off” and to not “dress him as a woman” is because Zaya is just a child, and in Boosie’s opinion, not old enough to make those decisions.
“I just felt like … that’s a child. A child at 12 can’t make that decision. That’s just how I felt,” Boosie explained. “And certain things I talk about. I just felt like that was going too far. You calling him a ‘her,’ that’s going too far. At 12 years old,” Boosie explained.
Ultimately, Boosie defended his comments about Zaya Wade despite backlash from fans and his own mother. What do you think about Mike confronting Boosie about his Zaya Wade comments?
