Attention all incoming and current HBCU students!
McDonald’s USA is awarding half a million dollars to students through its Black & Positively Golden Scholarship Program, in partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF). That means 34 HBCU students will receive up to $15,000 each in funding for the 2021-2022 academic year!
As most students accelerate at HBCUs more than any other colleges—with 70% of those students reaching middle-class—this scholarship campaign aims to elevate the black community and uplift the youth by supporting students who strive for higher education.
For a chance to make your dreams a reality by obtaining a college degree, all incoming and current HBCU students should apply for the Black & Positively Golden Scholarship now through May 10th at 11:59 PM EST at www.tmcf.org.
Below are some additional eligibility requirements:
Be 18 years old or older
Be enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior attending an HBCU during the 2021-2022 academic school year
Have a current cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or higher
Demonstrate leadership abilities and financial need
Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
We’re grateful to promote this amazing opportunity to HBCU students and wish you all the best of luck!
