In the midst of her contentious divorce, Mary J. Blige has revealed she didn’t make any money from her Oscar-nominated role in Mudbound and wants her ex to back-off from taking her coins.
Blige’s ex-husband Kendu Isaacs wants to up his spousal support from $30K a month, because he believes she’s making bank.
But in new court documents, the 47-year-old revealed her expenses for the movie cost more than what she was paid for the independent movie.
In addition, Blige said she still owes her record label $25 million in advances she’s already received.
The “Family Affair” singer doesn’t own her back catalog of music and derives her income from touring.
The exes have a March court date coming up, while Blige is up for two awards at the Oscars on Sunday.
