Following the footsteps of celebrities who have recently come out, Real Housewives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke has revealed that she’s a lesbian and is in a relationship with another woman, despite her 20-year marriage to husband Sean Burke.

“I’ve always known it,” she shared with GLAAD—adding that “I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It has taken me 42 years to say that but I am so proud of where I am right now. I’m so happy where I am. To be able to be comfortable in my own skin after so long is just so nice.”

Braunwyn—who shares seven kids with her husband Sean—said although she loves him dearly, she’s “not attracted to men” and never has been. Nonetheless, Sean has been really supportive of her walking in her truth and she plans to stay married to him.
