Long-time loves Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are spillin’ a bit of marital tea in their new book What Makes a Marriage Last. After being married for 24 years, one of their major takeaways is that communication is key, which they learned the hard way when Mark went all ‘private investigator’ on Kelly Ripa because he thought she was cheating!

Mark was out of town on business and couldn’t get Kelly on the phone which gave him “a really bad feeling,” he dished. “So I got on a flight to New York and called her from the plane and asked her what she was doing that night.”

Kelly told him she was cleaning all day, but he wasn’t buying it!

“Apparently, he thought that sounded very fishy. He wanted to catch me,” Kelly said. “So he gets home and tells the doorman to call up to the apartment and tell me there’s a flower delivery. I’m excited because I’m thinking, Oh my gosh, he’s sending me flowers!”

Next thing Kelly knew,  Mark was at her door “sweeping the scene”—only to find that Kelly was telling the truth!
