Another day, another person accusing Mariah Carey of being a diva. But this time it’s Will Ferrell … sorta.
The actor revealed that Mimi was cut from his new film The House and alluded to her alleged diva behavior.
While Ferrell didn’t specifically say what caused her scenes to be axed, he told Seth Meyers: “If DVDs existed, it would be some fun DVD extras.”
And while Mariah was previously accused of holding up the production, the former SNL star confirmed that she “eventually did show up.” Shade!
As far as any diva demands during filming, Ferrell kept it PC by saying:
“There were … suggestions [from Carey] that weren’t executed. She was on our set and yeah, things happened and didn’t happen.” Hmmmmm.
But another of the film’s stars didn’t mince words and called out Mariah for her “borderline abusive” behavior.
Cedric Yarbrough went off on a Facebook rant slamming the “We Belong Together” singer.
“This lady was unprofessional & borderline abusive to our director, who tried his best to appease her every wish,” Yarbrough wrote.
He also revealed some of her demands by adding:
“She then requested a large fan for her hair to be blown around and a camera that would be above her, basically a crane shot.” What about good lighting?!
Mariah has not responded to these latest accusations.
Stay tuned, lambs!
