LINDSAY LOHAN WANTS TO BE ARIEL IN ‘THE LITTLE MERMAID’ REMAKE
Wednesday, Feb 22, 2017

It’s no secret that Lindsay Lohan’s last best decision was playing Cady in Mean Girls. And obviously, she is still riding that train in hopes of a sequel. Now it has escalated so much that she has even offered to write the treatment for Mean Girls 2. We want to apologize to Tina Fey on behalf of Lindsay for thinking she could come close to writing a sequel as good as the original.

Lindsay Lohan opened up to The View about the sequel along with her newfound activism and past addiction.

She told The View:

“I went to SNL the other day and I was harassing Lorne. I was like we have to do it. I’ll write the treatment if Tina’s too busy. It’s fine.”

At least, she left the accent at home. Here is a reminder of the accent’s debut in November 2016.

But don’t worry, Lindsay Lohan hasn’t reached normalcy yet. She wants to play Ariel from The Little Mermaid in the upcoming live action film.

While the caption is simply #TheLittleMermaid now, it first read:

“I will sing again, as #ariel #thelittlemermaid. @disney approve that #billcondon directs it along with my sister @alianamusic singing the theme song for the soundtrack. also @kgrahamsfb plays Ursula. Simply because, she is the best. take one. @disneystudios.”

We’re glad Lindsay Lohan is so ahead of the game because most of us didn’t even know The Little Mermaid live action film was happening other than a Deadline article in August of last year that stated:

“Disney is pairing Hamilton‘s Lin-Manuel Miranda with iconic songwriter Alan Menken for a live action feature adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid. Miranda and Menken will write the songs together. Marc Platt will produce the film along with Miranda, in a configuration just set by Sean Bailey, president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production.”

I’m sure they’ve just been waiting with bated breath for Lindsay’s input.
