The King of controversy is back with….more controversy.
Lil Nas X has “church folk” in an chokehold after dropping cover art of himself hanging on a cross ahead of the release of his new song entitled “J Christ.” In an Instagram post, Lil Nas X said the song “is dedicated to the man who had the greatest comeback of all time.”

In addition to his controversial cover art, he shared a TikTok of himself taking communion, which many are calling blasphemous and a mockery of Jesus and Christianity.
Lil Nas X denied mocking anything via a tweet and told naysayers to “stop trying to gatekeep a religion that was here before any of us were even born.”
the crazy thing is nowhere in the picture is a mockery of jesus. Jesus’s image is used throughout history in people’s art all over the world. I’m not making fun of shit. yall just gotta stop trying to gatekeep a religion that was here before any of us were even born. stfu
