Lady Gaga isn’t worried that Beyonce is getting a chance to perform in the Super Bowl halftime show, because she will have the spotlight all to herself when she sings the National Anthem at Sunday’s game.
Yep! That’s right. The Countess herself will kick off the big game in Santa Clara, California. According to the NFL, Gaga will be accompanied by Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin, who will perform the anthem in American Sign Language.
It’s been quite the kick-off to 2016 for Gaga. Not only did she win a Golden Globe Award for her role as the Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel, she has now booked the Super Bowl gig, AND she will be performing a tribute to the late David Bowie at this year’s Grammy Awards! Get it girl!
We personally agree that Gaga is the perfect choice for the anthem and can’t wait to see her rendition on Sunday.
The highly-anticipated game will feature the Carolina Panthers taking on the Denver Broncos this Sunday, who are you rooting for?
