Kim Kardashian is all about criminal justice reform and this time she’s using her resources to help free rapper A$AP Rocky. The “F***** Problems” rapper and two of his friends, who were arrested two weeks ago after a scuffle in Stockholm, has been held in a Sweden jail ever since under what’s been reported as “inhumane conditions” — including 23 hours of solitary confinement.

After Kanye reportedly asked Kim to utilize her White House connections, Kim urged Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner to talk to Trump directly about A$AP Rocky’s case. In addition, the White House Urban Revitalization Coalition’s Kareem Lanier and Pastor Darrell Scott helped connect A$AP’s management with Kushner to discuss details. Earlier in the week, Rep. Adriano Espaillat and the Congressional Black Caucus called on the U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo “to do more” regarding A$AP’s case.
“Espaillat stated that “This is not enough. It is unconscionable that young men that are doing well, they are on the right track in life, they’re very successful, they’re icons in the hip-hop community, are treated under these inhuman conditions,” Complex reports.
