The 33-year-old revealed she wasn’t very well behaved while being raised by her very religious parents, who also happen to be Christian pastors.
“Oh, my God. We put our parents — I’m only speaking for me, from my experience — I put my parents through hell and back and back!,” the singer turned TV singing competition host said of Mary Perry and Keith Hudson.
Katy has previously said how her mom has had issues with some of her suggestive lyrics and racy outfits.
In fact, her mother recently published a self-help book entitled Joyful Parent = Happy Home, in which she describes the “demonic influences” affecting the youth of today.
Despite whatever she did in her younger years, Katy now does a lot of good for children by being a vocal advocate for LGBT youth and other charities.
