Who can Xscape run to to tell their life story?
During a recent interview with Haus of Aaron, Kandi Burruss explained why she has beef with reality TV titan and producer, Carlos King. Burruss claimed Carlos, who used to be a good friend of hers and was a co-executive producer of Real Housewives of Atlanta, made a deal with TV One in 2017 and sold the rights to R&B girl group Xscape’s life story behind her back. Ouch!
“My main issue with Carlos is he is the one who stole my group’s life story and sold it to TV One, and for that I just can’t get past it,” Kandi said. “Come to find out he [Carlos King] is the person who had did the deal with TV One to sell our life story and was going try to ask my mother questions about us unknowingly to try to get more information, I guess, for the show,” she continued.

Kandi said despite their longtime friendship, Carlos never expressed interest in producing a biopic for Xscape, and since he allegedly did it behind her back, it left her with “no respect” for him. #DishFam, was Carlos wrong for selling Xscape’s life story to TV One without talking to Kandi first?
