Former NFL legend Joe Montana breaks his silence after experiencing a real-life The Hand That Rocks The Cradle moment this weekend. While in his Malibu, California home with wife Jennifer Montana and their 9-month-old grandchild, an unknown woman later identified as Sodsai Dalzell broke in and tried to kidnap the baby from the playpen. Montana and his wife double teamed to de-escalate the situation but was forced to “tussle” with Dalzell to get the baby back safely.

Montana took to Twitter to thank everyone for their support during their “scary situation”.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Scary situation, but thankful that everybody is doing well. We appreciate respect for our privacy at this time.

Dalzell was taken into custody and charged with kidnapping and burglary.
