JENNIFER LAWRENCE TOLD TO SLIM DOWN IN HUMILIATING CASTING SESSION

Jennifer Lawrence has come forward with details of a harrowing and humiliating casting session early in her career.
The Oscar winner discussed the degrading experience while accepting an award at the ELLE Women in Hollywood gala on Monday.
“When I was much younger and starting out, I was told by producers of a film to lose 15 pounds in two weeks,” the Hunger Games star said.
While she didn’t name anyone specifically, Lawrence also called out the despicable behavior of fellow women in power.
“During this time a female producer had me do a nude line-up with about five women who were much, much, thinner than me. We are stood side-by-side with only tape on covering our privates,” she continued. “After that degrading and humiliating line-up, the female producer told me I should use the naked photos of myself as inspiration for my diet.”
And as if that wasn’t bad enough, another Hollywood executive made things worse when she tried to tell a male producer how she had wronged.
“He said he didn’t know why everyone thought I was so fat, he thought I was ‘perfectly f***able.’”
Lawrence’s account comes on the heels of the litany of women coming forward with allegations of sexual abuse, harassment and rape against Harvey Weinstein.
While the mother! actress never experienced any harassment on his behalf, she did release a statement saying she was “deeply disturbed” by the accounts and thanked the women for their candor and bravery.
