DISH NATION’s Jenna Owens is part of the Dallas-based The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show radio show team, which is syndicated in over 75 markets and also includes Kellie Rasberry, Big Al Mack (Alaric Mack) and J-Si (Jose Chavez).
Jenna is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, where she attended Saint Ursula Academy. She went on to attend college at Miami University, Ohio, where her broadcasting journalism career began with their local college television station. Initially covering the local crime scene, she realized her personality was much more suited to the goofy and the ridiculous and opted to head to Dallas where she eventually landed a job with The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show. Her most career-defining moments to date include interviewing Adam Samberg and meeting Neil Young backstage at Bonnaroo.
Growing up an only child, Jenna describes herself as fiercely independent and majorly stubborn. She was a soccer-playing tomboy until high school when her first eyebrow wax led her down a more feminine path of interests – these days, she’ll choose a shopping spree over a properly furnished apartment any day of the week!
Jenna is a current supporter of The Dallas/Ft. Worth Pug Rescue Program, U.N.I.C.E.F., Paws In The City, Kidd’s Kids (a youth program established by Kidd Kraddick) and Glamour Squad (also established by Kidd Kraddick, licensed cosmetologists and a team of volunteers provide a day of beauty at local hospitals for terminally/chronically ill teenage girls between the ages of 12 and 19).
Jenna resides in Dallas, Texas with her pug, Maximus (and she’s happy her Mom, Candy, is nearby in Austin). Her hobbies include running and lifting.
