Suicide Squad’s Joker, aka Jared Leto, was NOT happy with the standalone “Joker” film featuring Joaquin Phoenix. So much so that he allegedly tried to pump the breaks on it before it even happened! Now if that’s not a supervillain move, we don’t know what is!

Sources close to Leto reported that he felt “alienated and upset” as he had high hopes of returning as the Joker in future films. According to Hollywood Reporter, Leto urged his team to reach out to one of the higher-ups at the Warner Bros.′ parent companies to can the film. Despite Leto’s best efforts, the film went on to become a success—grossing $735 million worldwide with talks of an Oscar nom for Joaquin Phoenix.
