It looks like Jamie Foxx is feeling better and will return to a game show stage alongside his daughter, Corrine Foxx!
Fox announced Jamie, who was recently hospitalized for a medical complication he suffered last month, and his daughter Corrine will host a brand new celebrity musical game show called, We Are Family. The show, a musical guessing game, will feature a celebrity guest whose identity won’t be revealed until the end of the show. Jamie and Corrine shared a joint statement about the new show which is expected to debut in 2024.
“We are thrilled to be developing We Are Family with Jeff Apploff and our friends at FOX Entertainment after so much success with six seasons of Beat Shazam,” Jamie and Corinne said. We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we’ve had creating it when it premieres next year,” People reported.
This news comes on the heels of Corrine’s update about her father’s health after he was hospitalized for a “medical complication” on April 12th. She confirmed Jamie had been out of the hospital for weeks, despite conflicting reports that he was still hospitalized, and that he even played pickleball while recovering at home.
Jamie and Corrine also hosted the musical game show Beat Shazam, which Nick Cannon is reportedly taking over amid Jamie’s health issues.
