It looks like Jenny is back on the block of single life and ain’t nothin’ funny about it! Despite denying breakup claims last month, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have officially called off their engagement and confirmed their split via a joint statement to the Today Show.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have is to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support,” the statement read.
Amid last month’s breakup rumors and speculation about A-Rod charming Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy, Jennifer and Alex—who claimed to be “working through some things”—reunited for a “happy reunion” in the Dominican Republic where J.Lo was working on a film, People reported. Despite their best efforts, the two decided they’re “better as friends” and vowed to continue working together on their shared business ventures. They also asked for privacy to protect their kids who were reportedly upset over the breakup.
