Britney Spears is applying all gas and no brakes when it comes to her family! The hit me “Baby One More Time” pop singer is hittin’ her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears with a cease and desist!
Amid the release of Jamie’s new book entitled, Things I Should Have Said, Britney is putting her lawyer Matthew S. Rosengart to work by sending her lil’ sis a cease and desist letter for her “misleading” and “ruinous” memoir, E!News reports.
“We write with some hesitation because the last thing Britney wants is to bring more attention to your ill-timed book and its misleading or outrageous claims about her. Although Britney has not read and does not intend to read your book, she and millions of her fans were shocked to see how you have exploited her for monetary gain. She will not tolerate it, nor should she,” the C&D letter states.
In addition to the scathing cease and desist letter, “It’s Britney, B****” clapped back with another tea-spillin’ Instagram post where she ranted about getting no love or attention from her family during her very public breakup from Justin Timberlake.
Brit went on to explain that Jamie Lynn, who was 12 years old at the time, was living in the lap of luxury and her mom Lynne Spears was on medication and a mess after splitting from her dad and previous conservator, Jamie Spears, while the “Stronger” singer was reeling from her breakup. For a strong finish, Britney ended the post with “I’m sorry Jamie Lynn, I wasn’t strong enough to do what should have been done … slapped you and mamma right across your f****** faces !!!!!”
