Issa Rae is a married woman! The Insecure creator announced her nuptials to Louis Diame via a very Issa-style Instagram post and honestly, it’s so her. In a multiple-choice style caption to a slide show with stunning wedding photos taken by Lauren Fair, Issa hilariously details some mishaps in her intimate wedding ceremony that took place in the South of France over the weekend.

Issa’s “hella” witty caption is more of a nod to her love life which she’s kept well under wraps—hence being able to pull off a private ceremony in France without so much as a peep from paparazzi or the invitees.  Although Issa was first spotted rockin’ a ring on her April 2019 Essence cover, she has notoriously dodged all questions regarding her then-speculated engagement, and her love life in general.
