Ashton Kutcher wants his wedding guests to document his big day by strapping on the futuristic video recording eyewear.
The tech-obsessed “Two & a Half Men” star scored 100 coveted Google Glasses as party favors for his friends so they can chronicle he and Mila Kunis’ big day.
“Ashton thinks documenting his wedding via Google Glass will be a hoot,” a friend of the actor told Dish Nation.
“Ashton used his connections in the tech world to acquire over 100 of the glasses,” which are still the beta testing stage and retail for $1500.”
“Ashton got them comped and he’s giving them to every wedding guest, but he’ll ask that they all record personal video at the ceremony. He’ll then collect the images and compile them into one big video which he and Mila can keep as a cherished memory.”
“Ashton knows how to work a business angle, even for one of the most intimate moments of his life. He’s patting himself on the back because he thinks it’s a really cool and unique idea. Ashton has Google executives salivating at the thought of one of Hollywood’s biggest stars staging an ultimate grass roots marketing event.”
The couple, who are expecting their first child together, met in the 1990s when they both starred on “That 70s Show.” Mila, who claimed she never wanted to get married, has changed her anti-matrimony stance because, as she’s said, “I found the love of my life.”
“Mila worships Ashton,” confides the source. “If Ashton suggested live Tweeting their wedding, she’d probably go along with it.”
