Word on the street is, Kandi Burruss is ice cold when it comes to her high-end restaurant in Atlanta, Blaze!
A Blaze Steak & Seafood patron played no games when it came to calling Kandi’s restaurant out for overcharging him for ice and cheese. In an Instagram post from @MrLawyerUp reposted by @SpiritualWord, shared a receipt that captured the additional charges for ice and cheese. The customer said this was his second time visiting Kandi’s restaurant and he was overcharged both times.
After his receipt went viral, Ryan Williams (@mrlawyerup), who’s also an attorney, said that Kandi’s team addressed all the pricing issues and Blaze will no longer charge for said items as the upcharges have been removed from their point-of-sale system. It’s unclear if Kandi knew her restaurant was applying the additional charges for ice and cheese.
