Just hours after Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion in both of her feet, he reportedly sent her his sincerest apologies via text.
“I know u prolly never gone talk to me again, but I genuinely want u to know I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart,” he texted—adding “I was just too drunk.” “None the less sh** should have never happened and I can’t change what did,” he said. “I just feel horrible. Cuz I genuinely just got too drunk.”
Tory didn’t mention the gun or the shooting specifically but shared his remorse for what happened on July 12 after they both left the Hollywood Hills party. Just weeks after the shooting, Megan confirmed Tory as the shooter on Instagram Live— detailing the events leading up to it. Tory was arrested the same night for a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle but was later released on a $35,000 bond.
