The Bachelorette fans may have been blindsided by Clare Crawley and Dale Moss’ split, but apparently so was Clare. The former Bachelorette, who ditched the show to be with Dale, broke her silence a couple of days after Dale posted their “mutual” statement.
Clare shared that she found out about the “mutual” statement at the same time the public did. “Speaking for myself, my intentions with this relationship have always been very clear, so the truth is I am crushed,” she continued. Her words mirrored a source who said the breakup has been “extremely painful and emotional” as Clare feels “extremely blindsided” by it, People reports.
Moss announced via Instagram that he and Clare made “the healthiest decision” to go their separate ways. Despite the breakup, Moss ensured they’d stay true to themselves while wishing each other well.
