If “scared money don’t make money” was a person, it would be Megan Thee Stallion.
During a recent interview with LA Leakers on Power 106 Los Angeles, “Hot Girl” Meg revealed she paid Future a whopping $250,000 for a feature on the “Pressurelicious” track from her new album, Traumazine. Despite pushback from her team who initially objected Future’s heavy price tag, Meg moved forward with the transaction anyway.
“I had the beat for ‘Pressurelicious,’ right? I recorded the song, and I recorded it one way. And I’m like, ‘You know what? This would really sound hard if Future was on it,” Meg shared. “They was like, ‘Okay, 250. He wants 250K.’ I was like, ‘OK, bet. Somebody go pull 250,000 out of the bank and go drop it off to Future and tell him I need the verse before he leaves [Miami].’”
Meg’s sophomore album, which dropped on Friday, also includes features from Wale, Pooh Shiesty, Latto, Rico Nasty, and more. Do you think a feature from Future is worth $250k? Tune in to see what resident Dish Nation rappers Headkrack and Da Brat think.
