Mel B wants to get Brutally Honest in her new autobiography, but may have to pump the brakes in key areas—ones that would detail her fling and child with Eddie Murphy.  After originally denying the affair, A DNA test later confirmed Murphy as the father of their daughter Angel, now 11 years old.  The Beverly Hills Cop star and ‘Scary Spice’ singer went through a public custody battle which resulted in a reported $10 million settlement.  Unfortunately for Mel B fans, this legal agreement keeps her from badmouthing Eddie or discussing their relationship in detail.
Mel is currently working with editors, and while she has touched on some aspects of her and Eddie’s relationship, it turns out that chronicling details of their legal dispute and deal would be a breach of the settlement.

A source said:
“Mel has to be very careful about her chapter on Eddie, because they have a legal deal in place. That came in the aftermath of him denying being the dad of Angel and then working out a financial deal through lawyers.”
The autobiography will cover her journey from growing up in Leeds, England to being one-fifth of the world’s biggest girl band, Spice Girls, and her re-invention as a TV star. It will also delve into her relationships with “domineering, controlling men”.  The author said:
“I have kept silent for a decade, but after a very public court case, I want to set the record straight. This book will show that abuse can happen to anyone. It is important that my three girls, who I raise as a single mother, know how to break the chain of abuse.”
Soon after the Eddie scandal Mel married film producer Stephen Belafonte in Las Vegas. The two had their only child, Madison, in 2011. In 2014, allegations emerged about the film producer being physically abusive, leading her to miss X Factor appearances. He denied these claims, but in 2017 she filed for divorce citing “emotional and physical abuse”.  Court papers also indicate that Mel and Belafonte enjoyed a seven-year sexual and emotional relationship with their child nanny, Lorraine Gilles.

She’s since been linked to a married cop and has been pictured kissing her hairdresser.  Reports also state she’s dated several women in the past including a three-year “marriage” to film producer Christine Crokos.

Mel B’s professional career includes reuniting with The Spice Girls for a comeback tour in 2007 and at The Olympics in 2012. She also starred on Dancing With The Stars in 2007.  Plus, became a judge on Australian X Factor and 2014 UK X Factor, which led to her now infamous spats with Simon Cowell.
