Don’t twist Drew Barrymore’s words!

In a recent interview with Vulture, Drew talked about her estranged relationship she’s still trying to figure out with her mom, Jaid Barrymore. She explained to the outlet how she doesn’t have the “luxury” of moving on from the hurt like people whose parents have already died. So she wishes her mom a happy, healthy, and thriving life while she continues to grow and move on in spite of her painful relationship with her.

Of course, tabloids had a field day with this and published articles with titles that said Drew can’t wait until her mom is dead, and she had to set the record straight with an epic clap back on Instagram and told them not to twist her words!
