The most recent episode of Hardly Initiated podcast has some people hardly impressed!
Atlanta-based podcasters, Tysean Jackson and Ryan Catchings, of Hardly Initiated are catching backlash for their episode with real estate developer and business consultant, Phillip Karaya. During their candid, mancave-style conversation, Catchings and Karaya agreed that high-earning women who “prioritize their education and job” are “less attractive.”
Karaya said a woman having a high income is not a prerequisite for him as he prefers to be the sole provider, allowing his lady to do what she’s passionate about. Using social dominance hierarchies and hypergamy as touching points, Phillip said high-earning women have “very smaller options” as they rise the ranks since men on their level don’t want them for their “combative” and “boss”-like behavior.
Although Catchings agreed with Karaya’s stance, he added a caveat—saying he blames “weak ass” men for the evolution of high-earning women.
“I actually had a woman tell me, she says, I got a good job…I make very very good money. She says, the only thing I need now is a man,” Catchings said—asking “who wants you?” He continued, “I don’t blame the women for that, I blame these weak-ass negroes out here. Because these women they don’t want to wait to find you to build the lifestyle that they want so they go out and go build it themselves.”
People spent no time clapping back at the highly-controversial clip that’s been circulating on social media, with one woman noting that “only insecure men have an issue with high earning women.”
I’m not retweeting that video of that podcast talking about high earning women are less attractive. I won’t give them the interaction or views that they’re looking for.
I see why y’all keep saying defund podcasts.

High earning women less attractive? Naw. I look at that as an accomplishment for me. She brings a lot to the proverbial table, at least on paper
