Diddy is catchin’ heat for inviting comedian Amy Schumer to a Zoom “emergency family meeting” to discuss recent racially-charged events, including police brutality and the death of George Floyd. Prominent figures in the black community were in attendance, such as sports journalist Jemele Hill and media personality Van Lathan, but it was Schumer’s presence that left some people puzzled.

Despite the fact that Amy seemed to be an ally to the black community and wanted “worse” for Amy Cooper, the white woman who made dangerous claims against Christian Cooper—a black man who asked her to comply with Central Park’s rules by putting her dog on a leash—many people didn’t think the Trainwreck actress deserved to be on the panel to discuss black issues.
Some fans took to Twitter to express their concerns, while others dug up some of Amy Schumer’s racially-charged tweets to further prove their point.
