It looks like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are channeling their inner Mr. & Mrs. Smith in real life!
The former lovebirds, who are still going through one of the longest and most tumultous divorces and custody battles, now have new beef and this time it’s over wine. Angelina recently sold her stake in her and Brad’s jointly owned multi-million dollar Château Miraval winery in the South of France, and Brad is big mad about it. According to Brad’s legal team, Angelina was being “vindictive” and intended “to inflict harm on Brad” when she sold her half of the wine business to “poisonous” stranger Tenute del Mondo, who is “indirectly owned and controlled by Yuri Shefler, the Russian billionaire who controls the Stoli Group,” People reports.
Since indirectly selling her share to Yuri, Brad’s lawyers claim he has “cutthroat business tactics and dubious professional associations” which “jeopardizes the reputation of the brand Pitt so carefully built.” Plus, Brad’s lawyers claim that he and Angelina previously agreed to never sell their stake in the family business without the other’s consent, People reports.
