If I told you Miss Diana Ross had a fanny pack and that she lost it while shopping at Marshalls, that would not be fake news.
Ross herself made the revelation after said fanny pack went missing while browsing the aisle of the discount chain in Los Angeles. But luckily “an angel” found it and promptly returned it to The Boss.
The 73-year-old icon tweeted three times about the incident and was sincerely thankful for the kindness of strangers.
“Thank U to the Angel I lost my fanny pack in Marshalls in LA on Olympic & someone turned it in. What a blessing,” she first wrote. She followed it up the next day with: “Again this morning I’m so grateful” and “I will ‘pay forward.'”
And the week is only getting better for the former Supremes singer, as Ross will be given a Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Music Awards on Sunday.
Hopefully, she’ll keep her fanny pack on lock during the ceremony.
