Sorry, not sorry Selena Gomez.
Demi Lovato graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar and talked about life and recovery following her near-fatal drug overdose two years ago. In the interview, she gave an update on her social circle and noted that Selena Gomez was no longer apart of it.
Demi performed for the first time since her overdose this January at the 2020 Grammys. Following the performance, Selena took to Instagram to congratulate the former fellow Disney star saying, “I wish there were words to describe how beautiful, inspirational and DESERVED this moment was. Demi I’m so happy for you. Thank you for your courage and bravery.”
The message caught Demi off-guard as she explained, “When you grow up with somebody, you’re always going to have love for them. But I’m not friends with her, so it felt…” The “I Love Me” singer stopped herself and said, “I will always have love for her, and I wish everybody nothing but the best.”
