Blake and Ryan are very vocal about the importance of voting. They are also committed to educating themselves and apologizing for their mistakes, without trying to justify their hurtful behavior. After their 2012 wedding venue was revealed to be a former plantation with a disturbing and violent history of racism, Reynolds explained the couple was “deeply and unreservedly sorry” for the mistake, and meant it.
