CHRIS AND LIAM HEMSWORTH ARE BOTH IN THE RUNNING TO PLAY INDIANA JONES!

Sibling rivalry is about to brew between hunky Australian movie stars Chris and Liam Hemsworth – they just don’t know it yet.
The Aussie brothers are the two current lead contenders for Disney’s secret planned reboot of the Indiana Jones franchise.
However, only one can land the part of explorer Dr. Jones – originally played by Harrison Ford – and execs want their stars to screen test for the archaeologist adventurer.
An undercover unit at Disney has been spying Hollywood to see which stars are the right match to revive Indy again – and the two Hemsworths came in at the top as the right fit – given their muscular physiques and brooding good looks.
Casting supremos put them ahead of other contenders including Channing Tatum, Kellan Lutz and even British actor Tom Hardy, who played Bane in ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’
“This is a huge franchise – so producers are being extra careful with who they trust to star as Indiana,” a source confided to Dish Nation.
“They want a big, manly Dr. Jones this time around. Someone who is capable of handling his own stunts and looks the part.”
Chris and Liam have already proven they are big box office stars, and they are both being eyed up by Disney producers as potential successors to Harrison Ford.
The idea is to reboot the franchise with two quick films in succession, so they would need their leading man locked down for a three-year commitment.
Harrison is unlikely to return at this stage because he’s signed up for the new
‘Star Wars’ movies, and producers are concerned he may be too old to reprise his role.
Filming isn’t expected to start until 2016 – at the latest though. So there’s still plenty of time to pick the next Indy.
In recent weeks Bradley Cooper and Robert Pattinson have been linked to Indy but without merit. Dish can also reveal that Shia LaBeouf, who played Indy’s son in the last film ‘Kingdom Of the Crystal Skull,’ is “out of the question.”
