Celine Dion is certainly not all by herself because her fans are still protesting her Rolling Stone ‘The 200 Greatest Singers of All Time” snub!
Celine fans are putting up a fight when it comes to their Canadian songstress being excluded from the greatest singers list. Fifteen supporters from the Facebook fan club The Redheads made a trip from Montreal to New York to protest in front of Rolling Stone’s headquarters to let the media outlet know that they’ve “hit an iceberg” with this snub!
“The list is completely illegitimate,” Redhead founder Line Basbous said. “We wanted to support her and make sure that Rolling Stone hears the voice of the fans. The list is ridiculous. No Madonna, no Celine. They’re clearly focused on American singers and we don’t understand,” Variety reports.
The protesters chanted “Justice for Celine” while blasting her “That’s the Way It Is” song on a speaker. #DishFam, what do you think of Celine fans pullin’ up at Rolling Stone’s headquarters? Tune in to see what fellow Canadian singer Jessie Woo thinks about this drama.
