CAROLE BASKIN GETS CATTY—SUES NETFLIX FOR USING UNAUTHORIZED FOOTAGE OF HER & HER HUSBAND IN ‘TIGER KING 2’

Hey, all you cool cats and kittens, Carole Baskin is gettin’ catty over ‘Tiger King 2!’

Carole and her husband Howard Baskin filed a suit against Netflix and production company Royal Goode for using unauthorized footage of them for the Tiger King sequel. According to court docs filed by the Baskins, their contract with Royal Goode allowed their footage to be used for the first Tiger King, but not the sequel—as doing so will cause them “irreparable injury,” Variety reports.

“Understanding that the Appearance Releases limited Royal Goode Productions’ use of the footage of the Baskins and Big Cat Rescue to the single, initial documentary motion picture, the Baskins believed that any sequel – though odious – would not include any of their footage,” court docs reveal.

The court docs also say that the depiction of Carole and her husband was “particularly harsh and unfair,” implying their cats were abused and that Carole had something to do with the disappearance of her first husband which she adamantly denies.

Do you think the footage of Carole and her husband should be removed from the sequel? Tune in to see what our Dish Nation hosts think about this catty business!
