She’d love nothing more than to flaunt her new life abroad but Caitlyn Jenner can’t leave the country — because Dish Nation has exclusively learned she’s having serious passport issues.

The transgender star has changed her name and her gender, but now her biggest battle is changing her passport.

EXCLUSIVE: Lance Bass Says Kris & Caitlyn Jenner Will Be BFFs & ‘Share Style Tips’

“She’s going through hell trying to get her documents in order and she says it’s actually more difficult than physically having the surgery!” a source close to the I Am Cait star said.

“She wants to go on vacation, travel the world and meet all the people from around the globe who have been wishing her well or who are impacted by her story — but right now she’s stuck in the USA.”

Caitlyn will have to show proof of surgery and possibly even get a court order to change all her documents, including her bank account and passport. The process is said to be “complicated” and “expensive.”

Due to this it’s believed almost a third of Americans who have transitioned haven’t yet updated any of their identification.

“She obviously doesn’t want to do things half-ass. She is Caitlyn now and feels her passport should show this,” the insider added.

“It might be ok for people who don’t plan to travel, but for her it’s a necessity. She just didn’t think it would be this hard, and there aren’t any strings she can pull just because she’s famous either.”
