Caitlyn Jenner is coming for California Governor Gavin Newsom’s political gig!
Following in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s footsteps as the next celebrity to run for the governor of California, Caitlyn Jenner made an official statement today on her campaign website.
“California has been my home for nearly 50 years,” Jenner shared. “I came here because I knew that anyone, regardless of their background or station in life, could turn their dreams into reality. But for the past decade, we have seen the glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people.”

Despite previously identifying as a Republican and supporting former President Donald Trump, Caitlyn—who’s now self-proclaimed as a “#lgbt fiscal conservative and socially liberal candidate”—has not confirmed which party she’ll be running with, ET reports. Her formal campaign announcement is slated to be released next week.
