Brad Pitt is proving to be awfully camera shy with Angelina Jolie, who recently announced plans to collaborate with her husband-to-be on “a very experimental, independent type film.”
Indeed, the 50 year-old hunk threw Angelina a curve ball when he instituted a lifetime ban on ever playing her on-screen lover again.
“Brad agreed to be in Angie’s indie movie,” a family friend told Dish Nation. “But he absolutely refuses to be her romantic leading man – now or in the future.
“Brad thinks dipping back into that well would cheapen their reputations and only invite more prying into their personal life.”
“When Angie laid out the original premise, it called for a steamy black and white make out session between Brad and her.”
“Brad pointed out that it’s taken them 10 years of hard work, lending their names to political causes and doing humanitarian work, to take the focus even a little bit off of their private lives.”
Though Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston in 2004 when he and Angelina made the 2005 movie “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” the two finally admitted in separate 2008 interviews that they actually did fall in love on set.
The 38 year-old mom of six finally relented to Brad wishes.
“Brad thinks they can subtlety ratchet up the sexual tension by playing on screen enemies,” says the source. “In his mind, counter programming will be more titillating.”
“Brad also offered to play the villain and suggested Angie be the hero. This movie is going to upend the Brangelina image, which is exactly what Brad wants.”
