Beyoncé and Blue Ivy are booked, busy, and blessed as the stars of The Lion King prequel, Mufasa: The Lion King.

The mother-daughter duo will star in the Barry Jenkins-directed prequel with Beyoncé returning as Nala and Blue reprising the role of Kiara, the daughter of Queen Nala and King Simba in the 1998 sequel, The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride.

Returning cast from 2019’s ‘The Lion King’ include Billy Eichner (Timon) Seth Rogen (Pumbaa), and John Kani (Rafiki). Newcombers are Anika Noni Rose, Thandie Newton, Mads Mikkelsen, Keith David, and Tiffany Boone.
